Name for new Gateway unveiled
RBGE's new biodiversity and information centre, currently being constructed at the Garden’s former West Gate, is to be named The John Hope Gateway when it opens in 2009. The name was suggested by Dr Ian Rolfe as part of the Botanics' naming competition.

Bridget Jones Prints exhibition

Come to the Library Foyer and see imagery drawn from Bridget's botanical studies and from the RBGE archives, including those of John Hope, Regius Keeper (1761 - 1786). Developed in conjunction with research for a new window in the City Chambers.

Garden Gnome Club

Our new summer club for children offers a week of fun and creative activities inspired by nature. Plenty of time will also be spent outdoors exploring the Garden in a week packed full of exciting discoveries.
